Description
BazarDor is a Bangla market price tracking web app where users can browse daily product prices by category, see top price risers and fallers, and view product details after signing in.
Key features
- Live price ticker, plus home sections for price risers, fallers and all products.
- Category pages with sorting, loading skeletons and a custom 404 page.
- Authentication with email/password and GitHub login using Better Auth.
- Protected product details page and a profile page where users can update their name.
Challenges faced
- Setting up Better Auth with both email/password and GitHub login.
- Protecting the product details page so only signed-in users can open it.
- Showing Bangla text clearly with the right fonts and spacing.
- Keeping the price ticker, sorting and layout smooth on small screens.
Future plans and improvements
- Add Google login.
- Let users save favourite items and set price alerts.
- Add price history charts for each product.
